My firsties are always glowing with excitement (and energy) on the first day of school so I've made them these cute glow stick gifts.
I included 2 glow stick bracelets that I picked up at our local dollar store and voila! My camera didn't know what to do with these glowing bracelets :)
I've made mine for first grade but also included pre-K, kindergarten (did you know I taught kindergarten for 13 years?), second, third and fifth grade.
You can download these for free by clicking HERE. If you use them I'd love to know. Your feedback is what encourages me to create!
Happy Back to School!!
These are darling!!! Your kiddos will love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cyndie! I'm excited about them so I hope they are too :)
DeleteThanks for these. I have been looking for something to give my kinders to welcome them. This seems pretty easy and looks great!:)

I'm pretty excited to see the reaction I get from the kids :)
DeleteHey Laureen! So, I went to the Dollarama to look at glowsticks today and there were a million to choose from! Which ones did you buy? They have necklaces, bracelets..what did the package say on the front? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI bought the bracelets that were 6 in a pack for $1.
DeleteGotta love cheap ideas!
I heart these! Thank you so much for your generosity and charity - kindness, too. We have a huge box of these left over from a hubby shop for a party - and it will be great for my third graders and not a penny spent! Is there anyway you can make one for 3rd graders? Pretty please?

Done! I'd love to hear how your students enjoy them :)
DeleteSuper cute and would love to give to my Kinders ;) Tried to download, but says I need your permission. Am I doing something wrong???
ReplyDeleteBest-

My fault! I added a grade level tonight and forgot to give permission. It should be good to go now :) Sorry about that!
DeleteThank you!!!!
DeleteThese are adorable! I teach first grade as well. Have you ever had trouble with students being "responsible" with them...a.k.a. breaking them open?
ReplyDeleteHi, That's no a problem I have had in the past :) (and hopefully not the future).
DeleteThanks for the comment :)
These are so cute, can't wait to use them for my "meet and greet"!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like them!
DeleteAdorable! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome!
DeleteThese are great! I'll be using them to give my 3rd graders at Open House tomorrow! Thanks :)

I'm so glad you like them! I hope your open house went well :)
DeleteI'm obviously a year late on finding these, but they are super cute and was wondering if there is any way you could alter the grade level for 4th grade? You probably get lots of requests, so if you can't, that's okay. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteAmanda- nichola1@yahoo.com
I just added a page for fourth grade :) I'll email you a copy just in case you don't see my reply!
DeleteThank you so much for these! I am using them this year! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome - ENJOY!
DeleteHi! These look like so much fun….my Pre-K kiddos will love these…..but, how do you attach the glow bracelets to the card?
DeleteHi Laura, I cut little slits on each side then kinda 'weaved' the glow stick in. Does that make sense?
DeleteYes! Thank you so much!!!
DeleteI LOVE the glow stick back to school welcome! I am going to use them this year! I was wondering if you could add an editable page, or if you could make one for Readiness? (Yes-I am sure my school is the last one to still offer Readiness...) I have a combined K/R class this year, and really want to give these out at the Meet and Greet Day. Thanks for a GREAT idea!
ReplyDeleteHi there, Send me an email at teachwithlaughter@gmail.com and I'll help you out :)
DeleteWe just received one of these cuties at my son's back-to-school night. Too cute! I am a teacher as well, and I HAVE to know about the "bright" font. I def. need it in my life!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! The 'bright' font I used was 'Hello Firstie Big Gulp' - LOVE it!!
DeleteSo glad you like them!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I just whipped these out for open house. Now to find glow sticks!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them!!!!
DeleteDo you happen to have a copy in Spanish? I am working with a dual language program this year.
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to have a copy in Spanish or one I can edit? I am working with a dual language program this year. Thanks,
ReplyDeleteI actually do that I made for someone. Send me an email to teachwithlaughter@gmail.com and I will send it to you.
