Spring themed dice activities

I just realized that I didn't share my newest dice activities with you!  Oopsy!!

Even though I am buried in snow I am dreaming of (and planning for) spring.  I have posted a new dice activities learning pack at my TPT store both on it's own and in my bundle.

It is filled with 12 just print and go activities that include addition, subtraction, ten frames, base ten and more.

If you own the bundle, which now includes 10 learning packs you can head on over to your purchases and download for free :)  This growing bundle will soon include an Easter and another edition that can be used year round.  :)

As always, I'll send a copy of my newest learning pack, Print, Roll and Play Dice Activities (Spring Edition) to the first 3 people who comment on this post.

Spring Fun!

It's snowing like CRAZY outside my window at the moment so it's the perfect time to dream of spring!  I thought I'd share a peek into my spring math stations :)

These kids were just too cute to resist!

I've included 5 math centers for skills I am working on now in both color

and black & white

Students will be doing some work with:
 hundreds, tens and ones

 counting by 10's

 missing addends

 greater than / less than

and adding 10

Each station includes an "I can..." card to keep students on task and hopefully decrease those taps on your shoulder with the "I don't know what to do" comment.

I have posted this unit HERE at my TPT store.  Tonight, before I head to bed I will choose 3 people to send a copy to.  Just leave a comment (with your email) and I will do a random draw.   I asked my daughter to pick 3 numbers and she has come up with 3, 4 and 8.  I'll be sending the unit shortly.  Thanks to everyone who left a comment - keep visiting I have new products on the go :)

Also, there are only a few days left to enter my Mrs. Wishy-Washy giveaway.  If you haven't entered, you will find the information HERE.

Enjoy your evening, I'll be back later to send this unit to the winners :)

Spring Mystery Picture

C'mon spring!!!! I am sooooo ready for your arrival!!

I have my Easter Literacy Centers ready to go and now I have some place value practice ready for our first rainy day.  At this point here in the east, rain would be a welcome change from snow :)

As with my other place value pictures students need to solve to find the number then color to reveal the picture.

3 tens 7 ones 37

This picture goes beyond the hundreds chart to include numbers to 120.  I usually copy the two students pages side by side on an 11 X 17 paper.  The kids love working on a 'poster'.

I have included this new picture in with my ever growing Mystery Picture Bundle.
If you already own it you can re-download for free to get the new picture :)

You can find my new Spring themed mystery picture HERE.  Let's see who's on their computer tonight, I'll send a copy to the first 3 people who comment on this post.

Have a great night!!

Currently & is that a flower I see?

I LOVE visiting Farley's monthly currently linky.  I spend so much time hopping from blog to blog to see what everyone is up to.  If you have stopped by to see what I have been up to here you go...

Currently ...
I am listening to The Voice.  I recorded the premiere and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  I just can't get enough of Blake Shelton.  I think the four coaches are going to mix well together.  Should be a great season!
I am LOVING my son's graduation pictures.  We picked up the proofs today.  How are we ever going to decide?????
I'm thinking about parent-teacher conferences. Yep, it's that time.  I love meeting with families but I know that by Friday I will be EXHAUSTED  which is why I am needing to head to bed.
Yesterday we had the most beautiful temperatures. I went for a walk without a jacket!  I am so wanting the rest of the snow to melt - come on summer!!!!

So, that's what I've been up up to.  I love hearing what you're up to.  If you have a blog I'll probably be stopping by, if not feel free to leave a comment :-)

If you love the currently linky as much as I do you can find link to lots more by clicking on the picture below.

Now that I can see a little of my garden I was THRILLED to see some crocuses and tulips peeking through.  It made me think of my flowers tens and ones place value Mystery Pictures.  They're available at my TPT store both individually and in a bundle.

As usual, I'll send a copy of this activity to the first 2 followers who comment on this post.
Happy April !!!

Bug-a-licious Roll (or Spin), Tally and Graph

I am soooooo done with winter.  With that said I could not resist making a new spring math station when I saw the cute Spring Bugs graphics by Mel from Graphics From the Pond.  Aren't they adorable?

Here's a peek:

Spring is right around the corner and the bugs in this math station are perfect for capturing your student's attention.  Everyone loves choice, and since some teachers prefer dice, while others prefer spinners, I have included both in this activity.  To use this activity students roll (or spin) and graph the results. Then the information is used on tally on a chart.  I have included 2 "I can..." cards so you will have the one you need depending on which activity you choose.  If you like dice and spinners then there are 2 activities in this download for you.

I usually post in the evenings and give away 2 copies to the first 2 comments, but since I'm on March break let's see who's on their computer this morning.  I'll send a free copy to the first 2 people who comment on this post.  This activity is available at my TPT store.

While you're here.  There's still time to join in on the Leprechaun's Gold Blog Hop.  You'll pick up 15 freebies and have a chance to win $100 TPT dollars.  Click on the picture below to get started.
