Autism Awareness Linky Party

When I heard that Danielle at Crayonbox Learning was hosting an Autism Awareness Linky Party I just had to jump in.

My job was to create a freebie for you.  Honestly, at first I was stumped.  Then, I thought about a former student.  She understood that blue was blue and pink was pink, but when asked to sort she wanted the items to be IDENTICAL.  With that in mind, I created a sorting activity that requires students to sort buttons that have different attributes.  The buttons are different shades (light and dark) and have either 2 or 4 holes.

If you know a student who would benefit from this activity please click here to download a copy for free.

I linked this post up with Manic Monday freebies to remind you to head on over to check out lots of other freebies.
