'Glowing' back to school freebie

NOTE: This FREE product has been updated to include an editable version.  You can read more about it HERE.

My firsties are always glowing with excitement (and energy) on the first day of school so I've made them these cute glow stick gifts.
I included 2 glow stick bracelets that I picked up at our local dollar store and voila!  My camera didn't know what to do with these glowing bracelets :)

I've made mine for first grade but also included pre-K, kindergarten (did you know I taught kindergarten for 13 years?), second, third and fifth grade.

You can download these for free by clicking HERE.  If you use them I'd love to know.  Your feedback is what encourages me to create!

Happy Back to School!!

  3. Hey Laureen! So, I went to the Dollarama to look at glowsticks today and there were a million to choose from! Which ones did you buy? They have necklaces, bracelets..what did the package say on the front? Thanks!!

  4. I heart these! Thank you so much for your generosity and charity - kindness, too. We have a huge box of these left over from a hubby shop for a party - and it will be great for my third graders and not a penny spent! Is there anyway you can make one for 3rd graders? Pretty please?

  6. These are adorable! I teach first grade as well. Have you ever had trouble with students being "responsible" with them...a.k.a. breaking them open?

  10. I'm obviously a year late on finding these, but they are super cute and was wondering if there is any way you could alter the grade level for 4th grade? You probably get lots of requests, so if you can't, that's okay. Thank you!!

    1. Hi! These look like so much fun….my Pre-K kiddos will love these…..but, how do you attach the glow bracelets to the card?

    2. Hi Laura, I cut little slits on each side then kinda 'weaved' the glow stick in. Does that make sense?

  12. I LOVE the glow stick back to school welcome! I am going to use them this year! I was wondering if you could add an editable page, or if you could make one for Readiness? (Yes-I am sure my school is the last one to still offer Readiness...) I have a combined K/R class this year, and really want to give these out at the Meet and Greet Day. Thanks for a GREAT idea!
